This year, 2018, marks the 50th Anniversary of the founding of Castlerea Musical Society and to celebrate, the Society will host a Black Tie Ball in The Abbey Hotel, Roscommon on Saturday 17th November 2018.
They are hoping to make this a very special night with photos, video and stories from various shows over the past 50 years. This night of celebration is for anyone who was ever involved with Castlerea Musical Society, their family and friends.
They will kick off the celebration with a Drinks Reception at 7.00pm, followed by a 4-Course Meal. Music on the night will be provided by an 8-piece band, The Wondertones, followed by a Sing-Song into the early hours of the morning.
It is hoped that as many past and present Society members as possible will join them on the night, but the event is open to all. To book your tickets, please phone or text our Treasurer, Connie Gannon, on 087-9610283 after 5.00pm on any day.
Tickets for the Black Tie Ball are €50 each.
The hotel will be offering a special rate for people who may want accommodation.
The Society looks forward to catching up with you on the night.
